In 2010, an extensive renovation was completed to the HD Cooke campus. The original building, built in 1909, was modernized and a 9,100 square foot addition was added. This addition contains a new gymnasium, cafeteria and a central circulation core for the entire building. The renovations were completed using green design principles and is the first DCPS facility to achieve LEED Gold certification.

Our staff works hard to provide a well-rounded education to all of our students. 

Every year we set goals for our school and are continuously reviewing our practices to help our students meet academic standards and to prepare them as productive citizens in our community.
